Fitzgerald,Ella / Armstrong,Louis | Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong | Vinyl

Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong (1956) is a landmark jazz vocal collaboration pairing two of the genre's most celebrated singers on a set of American songbook standards, backed by the Oscar Peterson Trio. Fitzgerald's pristine, technically flawless delivery paired against Armstrong's gravelly, instantly recognizable voice created a contrast that made the record an immediate classic. It's widely regarded as one of the finest vocal jazz duet albums ever recorded, a genuine meeting of two towering figures in American music.
