Produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb, Sleeping Through the War found the Nashville psych-rock band expanding their sound with guest vocalists Caitlin Rose, Erin Rae, and Tristen, plus harmonica from Mickey Raphael. Across eight tracks — from the sprawling opener ‘Bulls’ to the nine-minute closer ‘Internet’ — the band layers organ, Mellotron, and electric piano over their heavy blues-rock foundation. The album charted on Billboard’s Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts as well as in Belgium, extending the band’s reputation as one of the most acclaimed acts in the contemporary heavy psych scene.
