Parry Gripp, the former Nerf Herder guitarist turned prolific internet-song writer, built a cult following posting dozens of short, hyper-catchy comedic songs to his YouTube channel, many aimed squarely at kids and built around a single silly premise repeated to an earworm hook. For Kids About to Rock gathers a large batch of those tracks — most running well under a minute — into a single release, produced by Gripp with longtime collaborator Carl Caprioglio.
