Pink Moon is Nick Drake's 1972 third and final album, a stark, solo acoustic record made in just two late-night studio sessions with almost no overdubs beyond a single piano part on the title track. Drake's hushed voice and intricate fingerpicked guitar carry the entire record, recorded during a period of worsening depression before his death two years later. Largely ignored on release, it's since become one of the most influential folk albums of the 20th century, discovered by generations of listeners through word of mouth.
