The Now Now is Gorillaz's 2018 sixth studio album, a more stripped-down, guest-light record compared to the guest-heavy Humanz that preceded it just a year earlier. Recorded quickly, largely by Damon Albarn alone with contributions from bassist Seye Adelekan, the album leans into breezy, melodic songwriting over the dense collaborations of past releases. Single “Humility,” featuring jazz guitarist George Benson, became a summer radio favorite and highlighted the record's sunnier tone.
