El Dorado is Marcus King’s 2020 solo debut, produced by Dan Auerbach at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville and released jointly through Easy Eye and Fantasy Records. Stepping out from the Marcus King Band, the South Carolina guitarist leaned into Southern soul and country-tinged blues rock, with singles “The Well” and “One Day She’s Here” both reaching the Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay chart. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards and drew widespread critical acclaim as a breakout showcase for King’s guitar work and songwriting.
