Lorde | Melodrama | Vinyl

Melodrama is Lorde's 2017 second album, a nocturnal, party-and-heartbreak concept record loosely structured around a single house party, produced primarily with Jack Antonoff. Tracks like “Green Light” and “Liability” showed a more emotionally raw and musically ambitious Lorde than the minimalist Pure Heroine, expanding her sound into fuller pop arrangements. It's routinely cited by critics as one of the best pop albums of the 2010s, a rare example of a young artist's sophomore album exceeding a widely acclaimed debut.
