Labyrinth: Original Soundtrack (1986) combines five David Bowie songs, including “Magic Dance” and “As the World Falls Down,” with Trevor Jones's orchestral score for Jim Henson's fantasy film starring Bowie as Jareth, the Goblin King. Bowie wrote and performed the songs specifically for the project after Henson approached him during his Serious Moonlight Tour, fulfilling a longtime desire to create music for a children's film. This digitally remastered vinyl edition brings back a soundtrack long out of print, beloved by generations of fans who grew up under the spell of the film.
