At just nine tracks, the record leans on Stapleton's rasping, soulful voice and understated arrangements rather than studio polish, including a stark cover of Willie Nelson's “Either Way” companion single. It won the Grammy for Best Country Album, continuing the momentum of his breakout debut Traveller.
