Don't Smile at Me is Billie Eilish's 2017 debut EP, produced almost entirely with her brother Finneas O'Connell in their family home in Los Angeles. The record's minimalist, whispery pop sound and dark, candid lyricism, first introduced on breakout single “Ocean Eyes,” set the template for the sibling duo's genre-blurring style. Released while Eilish was still a teenager, the EP laid the foundation for her rapid rise into one of the decade's defining pop artists.
