The 1975 is the band's self-titled 2013 debut, a genre-blending mix of pop, indie rock, and glossy '80s-influenced production that set the template for frontman Matty Healy's genre-agnostic songwriting. Singles “Chocolate” and “Sex” showed a band unafraid to mix arena-ready hooks with lyrical candor about relationships and substance use. The album debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart and launched the band's international career, building a devoted global fanbase over the decade that followed.
