Evolve is Imagine Dragons' 2017 third album, a synth-pop-leaning shift from the band's earlier arena-rock sound toward brighter, more electronic production. Lead single “Believer,” built around a thunderous, percussive hook, became one of the most streamed rock songs of the decade and reached multi-platinum status. The album's commercial success solidified Imagine Dragons as one of the biggest rock acts of the 2010s, even as the shift divided some longtime fans.
