Goblin is Tyler, the Creator's 2011 second studio album, a dark, confrontational record structured as a series of sessions with a fictional therapist character, continuing the horrorcore themes of his earlier work with Odd Future. Single “Yonkers,” with its unsettling black-and-white video, became a viral moment that announced Tyler and Odd Future's arrival to a mainstream audience. The album generated significant controversy for its violent, shock-value lyricism, a phase Tyler has since moved well beyond in his more melodic later work.
