Currents is Tame Impala's 2015 album, written, played, and produced almost entirely by Kevin Parker as he shifted the project from psych-rock toward synth-driven pop. “The Less I Know the Better” became a slow-burn hit and one of the decade's most sampled and covered tracks, while “Eventually” and “Yes I'm Changing” trace a breakup and personal transformation across the record. Currents broadened Tame Impala's audience well beyond the psych-rock scene that raised them and remains their most streamed album.
