Stevie Ray & Double Trouble Vaughan | Essential Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble (2LP) | Vinyl

The Essential Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble is a career-spanning 2LP compilation of the Texas blues guitarist's studio and live recordings, drawn from his run of albums with his band Double Trouble in the 1980s. Tracks like “Pride and Joy” and “Texas Flood” showcase Vaughan's fiery, technically dazzling playing that almost single-handedly revitalized mainstream interest in blues guitar during the decade. His death in a 1990 helicopter crash cut short a career that had already cemented him as one of the genre's most influential modern players.
