Soundgarden | Badmotorfinger | Vinyl

Badmotorfinger is Soundgarden's 1991 third album, a heavier, more metal-leaning entry in the Seattle grunge canon anchored by Chris Cornell's powerful, wide-ranging vocals and the band's unusual, shifting time signatures. Released the same year as Nirvana's Nevermind and Pearl Jam's Ten, the album helped cement Seattle's dominance in early-'90s rock, even though it took longer to reach the same commercial heights. “Outshined” and “Rusty Cage,” later covered by Johnny Cash, remain among the band's most enduring songs.
