Jazz is Queen's 1978 seventh album, an eclectic record ranging from the anthemic “Don't Stop Me Now” to the controversial “Fat Bottomed Girls” and “Bicycle Race,” the latter promoted with a famously provocative nude-cyclist ad campaign. Despite its title, the record has little to do with jazz music itself, instead showcasing the band's genre-hopping ambition across rock, funk, and vaudeville-inspired styles. The album's playful excess and theatrical flourishes reflect Queen at the height of their late-'70s creative confidence.
