Panic! at the Disco | Pretty Odd | Vinyl

Pretty. Odd. is Panic! at the Disco's 2008 second album, a Beatles-influenced pivot from the theatrical, cabaret-pop of their debut toward warmer, psychedelic pop songwriting. The band, who briefly dropped the exclamation point from their name during this era, layered horns, strings, and vocal harmonies inspired directly by Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road. Though it initially divided fans expecting a repeat of their debut, the record has since gained a devoted following for its ambitious stylistic leap.
