Notorious B.I.G | Ready to Die | Vinyl

Ready to Die is the Notorious B.I.G.'s 1994 debut, a vivid, cinematic portrait of Brooklyn street life told with a novelist's eye for detail and a technically dazzling flow. The album balances hardcore storytelling on tracks like “Things Done Changed” with commercial crossover appeal on “Big Poppa” and “Juicy,” a combination that reshaped what a rap album could accomplish. It's routinely ranked among the greatest hip-hop albums ever made, made all the more poignant by Biggie's murder just three years later.
