Nathaniel & the Night Sweats Rateliff | Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats | Vinyl

Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats is the band's self-titled 2015 debut album, a horn-driven soul and gospel-influenced rock record marking a dramatic shift from Rateliff's earlier, quieter singer-songwriter output. Breakout single “S.O.B.,” a raucous, hand-clapping tune about addiction disguised as a foot-stomping party anthem, became a surprise hit on late-night television and alternative radio. The album's success launched Rateliff's second act as a full-band leader, drawing comparisons to classic Stax and Motown soul revivalists.
