Bitches Brew is Miles Davis's 1970 double album, a landmark fusion of jazz improvisation with electric rock instrumentation, dense studio editing, and extended, exploratory group performances. Recorded with a rotating ensemble including Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, and John McLaughlin, the album abandoned conventional song structure for long, hypnotic grooves built in the studio by producer Teo Macero. It's widely credited with launching the jazz-fusion movement and remains one of the most influential records in jazz history.
