Oracular Spectacular is MGMT's 2007 debut album, a psychedelic synth-pop record built around the massive crossover hits “Kids” and “Electric Feel,” both of which became inescapable festival and radio staples. Produced with Dave Fridmann, the record's shimmering synths and hook-heavy songwriting made it one of the defining indie-pop albums of the late 2000s. This 180g pressing captures the band's early, accessible sound before they deliberately pivoted toward more experimental, less commercial territory on later releases.
