Swimming is Mac Miller's 2018 fifth studio album, a jazz-tinged, introspective record about heartbreak, addiction, and self-acceptance released two months before his death in September 2018. The album's warm, live-instrumentation-heavy production marked a maturation from his earlier mixtape-driven sound, with tracks like “Self Care” and “2009” reflecting candidly on his struggles. It earned a posthumous Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album and is widely regarded as a poignant capstone to his catalog.
