Good Thing is Leon Bridges' 2018 second album, a shift from his retro-soul debut Coming Home toward a broader, more contemporary R&B and funk palette. Working with producers including Ricky Reed, Bridges expanded his sound with synths and modern rhythm sections while keeping his warm, classic vocal delivery front and center. The record earned him a Grammy for Best R&B Performance for “Bet Ain't Worth the Hand” and broadened his audience well beyond the soul-revival scene.
