Appetite for Destruction is Guns N' Roses' 1987 debut, presented here on a 2LP vinyl pressing, produced by Mike Clink and the best-selling debut album in US history. The record's raw sleaze-rock sound and the chemistry between Axl Rose's vocals and Slash's guitar work set it apart from the more polished hair metal of the era, especially on tracks like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Paradise City.” “Sweet Child O' Mine,” written almost by accident during a soundcheck, became the band's only #1 hit.
