Wasting Light is Foo Fighters' 2011 seventh album, recorded entirely to analog tape in Dave Grohl's garage rather than a traditional studio, a deliberate return to a rawer, more organic recording process. Reuniting with producer Butch Vig, who had also produced Nirvana's Nevermind, the record features a guest appearance from Bob Mould of Hüsker Dü and even a brief reunion of Grohl and Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic. This 2LP gatefold pressing with download card presents an album widely praised as a return to the band's heavier, more visceral rock roots.
