The album reached number 9 on the Billboard 200 and number 5 on the UK Albums Chart, and won the Grammy Award for Best New Age Album in 1997. Tracks like ‘Anywhere Is’ and ‘On My Way Home’ were released as singles, and the record’s blend of Celtic, classical, and ambient elements helped further cement Enya’s status as one of the best-selling new age artists of all time. Critics were split between praising its lush production and calling it a close continuation of her established formula.
