Deftones | White Pony | Vinyl

White Pony is Deftones' 2000 third album, a genre-bending record blending metal, shoegaze, and electronic textures that expanded the band's sound well beyond the nu-metal scene they emerged from. Tracks like “Change (In the House of Flies)” and “Digital Bath” balance Chino Moreno's ethereal, melodic vocals against the band's crushing instrumental attack. It's routinely ranked among the greatest metal albums of the 2000s, widely credited with pushing the genre toward more atmospheric, textured territory.
