Chris Stapleton | Traveller | Vinyl

Traveller is Chris Stapleton's 2015 solo debut, a country-soul record that swept the CMA and Grammy Awards after decades of Stapleton writing hits for other artists in Nashville. His rasping, soulful voice and the album's stripped-back, blues-rock arrangements stood in sharp contrast to the polished pop-country of the era, most notably on “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Fire Away.” The album's surprise success reintroduced traditionalist, roots-driven songwriting to mainstream country audiences.
