Exodus is Bob Marley and the Wailers' 1977 ninth album, written during Marley's self-imposed exile in London following an assassination attempt at his Kingston home earlier that year. The record moves from the politically charged title track to the tender love songs of its second half, including “Jamming” and “One Love/People Get Ready,” showcasing Marley's full range as a songwriter. Time magazine later named it the greatest album of the 20th century, cementing its place as one of the most acclaimed reggae records ever made.
