Alicia Keys | Diary of Alicia Keys | Vinyl

Songs in A Minor is Alicia Keys' 2001 debut album, a soulful, piano-driven record that established her as a defining voice of neo-soul and R&B while still in her early twenties. “Fallin',” built around her classically trained piano playing and powerful vocals, won the Grammy for Song of the Year, part of a night that saw her win five awards total, including Best New Artist. The album's blend of classical training, hip-hop-influenced production, and soulful songwriting made her one of the most acclaimed new artists of the early 2000s.
